How do you keep it from downloading or is it just pretty much random

The other day I watched an in-depth tutorial on it, I haven't tried it like the video, but when I do it, it was random, but here is the instructions that was on the tutorial:
-do the single player to online mode glitch
-go outside of your house and you MUST WAIT until someone gives you a job (NPC not friend; don't call for it and request it, let it come to you)
-when you get it, wreak havoc on Los Santos then get on your vehicle
-*request a job from Lester (that is what I do, I use Lester's mission for the glitch) then get away from the cops and accept the mission then repeat* I for got what the video said, as in I forgot if you're supposed to call for a job now or use the job the NPC gave you
