All the XP recieved is 100% full. So as sad as it is, leveling will be very slow. There was an interview with Mark Rubin where he said they tried to make the leveling somewhat similar as previous titles, but not exactly the same. If you go to TmarTn's YouTube channel, there is a video that talks about prestiging. Just watch it, he mentions the interview.
