plasma is the best image quality but may strain your eyes, seconded by LED screens. that's all you need to know

LED is defiantly the best on the market but if you already have a Samsung 32" LCD then there's no need for an upgrade. Samsung is one of the best brands on the market currently.

If your looking for just a gaming screen, I wouldn't go with a television, but with a monitor instead. They are pretty much the same thing, except monitors are typically better in a gaming setting. I have looked around for a few gaming monitors lately and found that the BenQ gaming series is the best. This is because they typically tend to have a higher refresh rate, and when you want to game, the higher the hertz the better. Anyways I hope this was helpful, and I'll put the link to the monitors I was discussing. Keep in mind that these monotones are not the cheapest, but they are one of the best.
Edit: If these monitors are too expensive, or you don't like them. I would recommend Asus or Samsung, because I have used both them for gaming/normal use, and have been pleased with their performance. Sorry for the long response, just trying to help you find what you are looking for.

AccuAir wrote I have been looking at TV's because I'm starting to need a new one. I would be using it for gaming.i have a 29 inch toshiba it has an upscaled 720p 60fz
At the moment I have a 32" Samsung LCD TV.
But what's a good type? LEDs look amazing and produce a clear image?
I've heard plasma TV's are not good for gaming.
And LCD I already have, so leave opinions below please.
perfect and sleak for gaming
