Overall, I was extremely disappointed in Ghosts's campaign. It was purely unimaginable & dull. Almost like someone decided to make the script in a couple days & throw it under some multiplayer, extinction, etc. so no one would notice.
But I'm not even started yet.
The CLIFFHANGER AT THE END NEARLY RUINED IT FOR ME. There was no reason to keep Rorke alive. They're really pushing to get Ghosts a sequel, which I bet is already under development or at least thought about atm.
In the end, it's a cod game. It shouldn't have avoid campaign, right? .....
Your thoughts?
(And my favorite campaigns in cod were Cod4, Cod5 & BO1)

What did you expect, seriously? This is Call of Duty. It isn't know for having a great campaign, or great anything for that matter. It's overhyped and that's the only reason people still keep buying it.

Since 'Spoiler' is in the title already, I don't see the need to use one. So, Spoiler Warning just in case:
I loved the campaign. Even though I saw some of the plot twists coming from a mile away and was disappointing not having Captain Price giving quotes to people, it was still awesome. The cliffhanger made sense. Hesh survived the gunshot wound in the water. That means the main bad guy should have survived as well. There was no sacrifice. If Hesh died, then it would have been less expected. Main bad guys don't die easily. They are known for getting out of deadly situations unless the ending is epic or a sacrifice is made. It just amazed me he got out of the water so quickly. It was also weird how fast Hesh and Logan became Ghosts. Didn't seem right for an elite group to get rookies that quickly.

I completely agree and it makes me sad because I usually love the campaigns. They seem to have rushed the whole game I think.

I honestly liked how they left it at a Cliff hanger or else otherwise it would of been the same as every other cod.
Which is you always end up killing the enemy leader and it got way too repetitive in my opinion.
I am excited to play the sequel now.

I've been reading up on reviews about the game mostly because I just hated the Campaign.
The gameplay was too "shoot here" "do this now" kind of thing. There wasn't much in the way of background or even information given about the Federation except who they were (nation wise) and that Rorke was now somehow (never got an explanation as to how) their leader despite the Federation already being at war with the US and others back then. Who was the leader besides a man with a name? Why did these countries ban together? Why were they so aggressive? What made them better equipped and able to run through multiple nations in a blitzkrieg styled campaign?
So many questions that were easily left unanswered about the antagonist.
The other major plot loop-holes involved much of the Naval forces and about why Odin wasn't used for aggressive manners like the Loki at the the end. The beginning of missions is suppose to debrief you on the status of the nation and such, not be story time for my kindergartners. We never learned about the rest of the US, only about Vegas, Cali, Texas, and wherever the base in the beginning was. Why was there only 1 aircraft carrier left out of the whole navy? where were the rest of the naval forces from around the globe? How did the South American nations get so well armed and trained in such little time (they had a whole naval fleet of destroyers and such yet the US is down to a sole AC)?
The Campaign was extremely flawed in just simple realistic questions that went unanswered. At least the BO2 campaign made some sense.
