Along with the XP lobbies floating around multiplayer right now, a lot of people are having question and concerns regarding the squad point infections. From my personal experience, this steps have worked in resolving this issue you all are having.
I'm just trying to help out as much as I can before the newest patches/ban waves are released sometime soon.
Step 1 - Wait and make sure your squad points aren't just catching up with your profile. Skipping from level x-60 is too fast for the game to handle, resulting in your account getting squad points constantly. The game is trying to award you from leveling up, but can only do so at a certain speed. So, before you try any of these following steps, make sure this isn't the case, and you actually are infected.
Step 2 - Dashboard and sign out of your profile
Step 3 - Head to System Settings on your console and get ready to delete/re-install a couple of things.
Step 4 - Delete any and/or all of the following (don't worry, the erased files won't be permanently gone): Gamer profile, system cache, multiplayer update for COD: Ghosts, and possibly delete/re-install the game file itself (NOT your save file, the actual COD: Ghosts game install). For me, erasing the system cache and multiplayer update worked for me. As far as the multiplayer update goes, you will be prompted for a re-install upon launch of COD: Ghosts.
Again, these are some ideas and tips I found that got rid of the infection for myself. I'm not saying it will work on everyone else's account, but I figured it would be helpful to the TTG community to inform people of what worked in a specific case.
Hope this helped you guys out! Thanks!
