For the most part I think LIVE will run smoothly, not as much on the first few days, because that's usually when issues occur. But for the most part I think it will be fine.

There will be a few connection issues and updates may be slow but the service has and always will remain better than PSN.

There may be one or two small issues coneccting to Xbox live but overall I think things will go really well with 300,000 servers.

I certainly expect it to go exceptionally smoother than the PS4's launch in terms of online capabilities. Hopefully these 300,000 servers they've been boasting about will live up to what they're saying it will be. But there will definitely be some hiccups in the first week with millions of people connecting and downloading updates and game content. Other than that I believe that in general the launch of the Xbox One will be smoother than Playstation's.

In terms of hardware hiccups.... I've heard only good and no bad things about the early Xbox One consoles that got handed out before launch. But I guess we'll wait and see ;)

I would be extremely surprised if the launch went perfectly.

I am sure there will be some issues at launch but I have no clue what they could be.

I think there will be some internet issues for the first few days of its release. It's bound to happen when it goes from 0 to over 1 million people on its servers. PSN will sort their stuff out and if/when xbox live has problems microsoft will sort it out as well.
