I honestly don't even know lol. Without my SSD I get to the bios setup. With the SSD it won't turn on. And no, I haven't installed my OS on anything yet.
I can't think of any reason connecting a SATA drive would cause the computer to fail the POST. Something else must be going wrong or something is happening after the POST.
I think I figured it out. Something wasn't plugged in tightly enough. One more question, My case came with 4 fans. 3 of the cables are like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . Any idea on where to plug them in? Or will I have to get rid of them?
You can plug them directly into the power supply or use Molex to 3-pin adapters.
Ok, one last question. I have everything installed and working. I'm halfway through installing Windows 8 and it's asking me for a product key. I have the OEM version and I have no clue where the product key is.
It should be on a little sticker on the OEM packaging.
