Hello guys, I need to know if my computer is being controlled, I accidentally downloaded an .exe and it opened straight away and I believe something is happening, I deleted the .exe and restarted my pc, but is there a way to check if it installed anything? i.e rats, keyloggers things like that... Much appreciated TTG! Will Rep.

Your browser automatically opened it. You don't have anything to worry about. Nonetheless, you should still download Avast! free antivirus and run a scan.

I would recommend turning your laptop/comuputer off, entering safe mode upon startoff, then go to control panel > unistall a program.
Then, look for any suspicious files, if not, then the virus(as it will show up).
You can then delete it.
