I bought a pair of Turtle Beach x41's a while back and stopped using them for a bit and I've recently tried to use them again and when I turn it on from the transmitter and put the headphones on there is no game sound and I can hear people in the party or game but it doesn't pick up my voice no matter how loud I speak and if I turn the voice chat button on or off it makes no difference

does anyone know what I should do?

Maybe the chat cable (controller to headset) is broken. It happened to me and i had to order a new one for $5.
