I don't like the gray background. Doesn't look good with the pink. Also I would add a cloud below the text. Then have some flare lighting effects come out of that.

These are just things I would do myself, looks good for your first time

Thanks and yeah, I could have added a bit more in the background to spice it up

I like it for a first design. Oh god, I don't even want to look at mine, but you will get better if you look on some youtube videos. And that background doesn't go well with that pinkish color you used. And that flare is a little to bright for a dull picture. Other than that, great first design! I hope to see more from you.

Being that it is your first I am not going to rate it because it would be rather pointless. My advice would be to watch some tutorials and learn the different tools at least to a certain extent. Also this image has been made thousands of times and just doesn't look in any way artistic or professional. That being said my next tip would be to look at some of the greater graphics designers out there and more particularly at their work. Try to incorporate some of their detailing and styles to influence your own work while still keeping it your own. Then you'll find you won't need them anymore and will be designing on your own.

Hope I was able to help you

Thanks a ton everyone! This is great and I have been watching a ton of videos and am getting better every time I watch a video. Are there any graphic designers you would recommend for me to look at their work?
Thanks,
Bfunk

I don't really see an actual logo here...

Go to google, type in logo.

See what comes up?
