Before i start , im not here to offend/disrespect any religious beliefs or thoughts just my point of view of a scientific theory

What I'm talking about is the Brain in a vat theory. The theory that earth, humans, and everything isn't real, just something that your brain created and you are essentially in "The Matrix."

The scary thing behind this method is that there is no way to prove that you are just a brain in a jar and everything you believe to be real has just been programmed into some computer. Or how do you know that you aren't 30 years older then your are now but you are just in a coma and your brain is reliving your past experiences, these are all the existential crises' I think about when I'm laying around in bed and it freaks me out so much that I just spend hours trying to think of a reason that everything I do everyday is real, but you can't know. So what do you think, how do you know that you are real, how do you know you aren't in some brain in a jar, or 30 years older then you are now in a coma?

Why would you create experiences in life such as aging, pain (physical and physiological) and death? Wouldn't you have thought that, if you were simply imagining life as you know it, it wouldn't be as bad as the world is today?

Then in essence, life is still real.
There has to be life to create the machines that would be wired up to the brain and the brain also has to come from somewhere.
Along with that point it would be near impossible to create a 'virtual' world for every human being on this 'world', especially without any blips or errors that could potentially cause fatalities?

Well, if we were taking this from the actual Matrix point of view, and in the context of the film, the Oracle tells Neo that any time he has heard stories of Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts or Aliens they are all glitches in the Matrix or 'Faulty programmes doing something that they aren't supposed to be doing.'
It also explains Deja Vu as a glitch when something is changed in the programming.

Interestingly enough, Yin sent me a link to an article describing an experiment that scientists are going to do on cosmic rays and, if I understood correctly, measuring the space between their origins, if they have random origins we should be fine, if not, it could be indicative of a planned order to the Universe.

Also, referring to your point about creating a virtual world being impossible for every human, we don't know 'their' technological capabilities so we can't really presume anything.
Then again, why must it be for every human being?
What if it's just you, or just me?

Even then though, you would have to look into why they would want to keep us like this.
The movie uses the premise of them harvesting our bodily energy and turning us into batteries to power themselves [AI Machinery.]
I apologize if you know all this, I'm just assuming you haven't seen the films :p

Another question is, if this was a fake reality, would you really want to know?
