General Overview

The map "Five" from Call of Duty: Black Ops is a map located in the pentagon. There are three levels to this map, assessed by using the elevators, and or the the teleport devices once the power is activated on the third flour. In the game, you play as one of four characters; John F. Kennedy, Fidel Castro, Richard Nixon, and the secretary of something, I'm not sure about the last one. There are many different things possible to do in this map including deafcon levels, zombie monsters, and a boss that takes your weapons.

Guide to Gameplay
Note-
So far after playing this map over 50 times by myself, and around 100 times using splitscreen,


Round 1-2

I have found that the best strategy is to use your knife on the first round. For the second round, i suggest that you shoot the zombies with a full clip of the given pistol, and than knife them. For the third round, I suggest you opening the first door in the room you spawn in, and buying the machine pistol off the wall.

Rounds 3-4

After this, I suggest camping in front of the elevator until the end of round three. At the start of round four, using the guide above, you should have enough points to, clear the debris in front of the elevator, go down the elevator, and but the mp5 off the wall. Use the mp5 in the circular path next to the elevator that you came from until round 5.

Rounds 5+

You should now have enough points to clear the debris in front of the stairs, and the debris in front of the second elevator. Go down. look for the room with the power switch, it is in the room with the large 3 on it. Once the power is on, and you feel comfortable that you will not die, look in the windows for the mystery box. (The glowing blue light from the box is usually a good indication if its in the room.) Open the door to the mystery box, and buy at least one gun. If you get a good machine gun, that will be all you need, but if you get a ballistic knife like I do in the video, than i suggest you buy more, until you get a good machine gun/assault rifle. Once you have a good gun, find a camping spot that suits you best. I do not suggest that you camp in front of a teleporter, because the zombies will run through it and kill you from behind. Once you have some decent Zombie killing weapons, than i suggest running and getting some perks, and or using the pack a punch which i will explain where that is and how to get there.

***Locations***

Perks: (Juggernaut, Speed cola, Double tap, Quick revive)

Juggernaut: Found in the second level, down the stairs,to the right side, it is in front of the door to the pack a punch room. In video: Not Shown

Speed Cola: Found in the first level, Through the first door, turn right, than its on the left in front of the elevator door. In video: 6:44

Double Tap: Immediately after stepping out of the first elevator on the second floor, to the right. In video: 6:53

Quick revive: Found in the first room, in the side area of spawn room. Note- Special feature of quick revive; when in single player, when downed, you automatically revive yourself and you receive two pistols; sally and mustang, and the two pistols shoot grenades: Location in video: 3:05 Special effect: 14:37




***Power Ups***
Power ups in this game are almost identical to the ones in World at war.
Max ammo: Gives you max ammo on all of your weapons, and gernades.

Insta Kill: Makes every zombie a one shot/knife kill, even the zombie monsters.

Carpenter: Rebuilds all barriers and awards the players 200 points each.

Nuke: Kills All zombies, and awards all players with 400 points.

**NEW** Sale Tag: Makes Things cheaper. Buying a random weapon, will with the sale tag upgrade, is only 10 points instead of 950. Pack a punch, is 1000 points instead of the 5000 In video: 13:37

**NEW** Death Machine: Gives you a Handheld minigun for a short period of time. In video: 14:17

Pack-A-Punch: The pack-a-punch in the map "Five", is a little bit different than in the previous zombies maps, You must either, have just killed the boss from level 5-8, and acquire the power up he drops, than you must go through a teleporter. You can stay there for one round and the zombies will start coming through the door next to juggernaut, the one that says you need 115 access. Pack-A-Punch is also accessed at Deatcon Level 5




**Deafcon Levels**
The deafcon level, is a level that can be changed by switches found in the war room, which is the second level. The switches are green at first, but once activated, the deafcon level will go up, and the switch will turn red. Deatcon level5 is the highest level. Level 5 gives you access to the pack-a-punch room.




***SPECIAL EVENTS***

Instead of the hell hounds that were found in the World at War map, and the first black ops zombies map; Kino Der Toten, there is what i would call a boss. This Boss if you will comes on rounds 5-8. If playing by yourself, he will spawn somewhat close to you, and will start slowly. I suggest shooting him with your worst gun, because he is going to run to you when you shoot him, and steal your gun. Once he has stolen your gun, he will than turn around and run quite quickly through a random series of teleporters. While he is doing this, chase him, and shoot him as much as you can until he dies. Once he dies he you will receive the weapon that he stole back, and he will drop two power ups, Max Ammo, and a Sale tag.

**NEW Component for metal detectors**
Go down into the control/war room, find the red bag, its behind a computer, ill upload a video soon so we can all see where it is, the power will need to be on to activate the barriers, but to pick up the component, the power does not need to be on.

Ok here's a couple things.

1st:
The highest defcon level you can get to is actually 5. But I have no idea what it actually does other than once you hit 5 the lock down is turned off (no idea what that does either)

2nd:
I don't believe you can actually get 115 clearance.

I believe the zombies are the ones with 115 clearance.

The reason I believe this: When you kill steiner on one of the boss rounds and pick up the PaP thing he drops, you can go through a teleporter and it will take you to the PaP room. You can stay there until the next round, and zombies will come through the door next to the juggernaut machine which usually requires 115 access.
