Prince Fielder and Miguel Cabrera worked so well together. Sure, they have more money now, but no one will be able to replace Prince Fielder. In my opinion, it was a pretty bad deal considering what Kinsler has done this season.

What?
Nelson Cruz, Josh Hamilton.. Even though this guy wasn't a power hitter you can't forget Michael Young?

No Tigers win on this one as well. What they have lacked was a lead off hitter, which Kinsler can do, and with Fielder struggling in the playoffs it is no surprise they moved him to free up some cap space.

I think it's a good trade because the Tigers didn't really want to sign Fielder when they did, they just signed him because Martinez got injured right before the season started. Rangers desperatly needed a power bat so they got it, Kinsler provides some experience which the Tigers need.
Plus, Tigers now can move Cabrera back to first so he can focus more on his hitting than defense, and they can put in their highly regarded 3B prospect in now to play.
Rangers can play the best prospect according to Baseball America last year at second now and they have a power hitting first basemen which is what they wanted this off-season.
