Im going to college and my dorm isnt big enough for a desktop so i need to pick up a laptop. Will this laptop play minecraft and be able to handle saving schoolwork an stuff

Yes it will you need at least 1 GB of ram to run mc and this one has 8. Even this laptop can run programs like auto cad or autodesk inventor etc, so yeah this is a good laptop.
