yeah this does not work no more i have heard it works for account that have never had a subscription or have never been on a console . but that's no good .

For those having trouble getting this to work in the US, try loading the free live website on a mobile device. I tried it on my phone and it worked great

I tried this on mobile no help , went on my old account that never had gold before and it give me the option for the 0.00 but on my main account it does not .

What I did was sign into my account on the xbox so it would convert my account back to silver. Then in a few hours, I went on the mobile website and it worked great. I've used the free live thing for about half a year now.
