I know amd is cheaper but what's the difference between Intel and amd also I'm looking for a powerful but not insanely expensive processor

Most AMD cpus are cheaper and are great for tight budget builds. You can't really compare the two because their architecture is different. The difference is that AMD cpus use more power, their single core performance is slower and their cheaper. Intel is pretty much the opposite.
What is your current setup? motherboard, power supply ect.? We also need a budget(Correct currency) to suggest processors.

Well we need the current model of your motherboard or at least the socket size. The power supply model would be nice too.
