I'm experiencing tons of lag in skyrim, i've followed a couple tutorials and so far nothing has worked.
I've downloaded the mod called "Gigantic Skyrim FPS Performance Patch" and i've lowered the graphics settings to medium and such. my specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB (7.88 GB Usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
Graphics Info:

Are you using any other mods?
And do you have any anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering on at all?

You could try using an [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , or some other assorted performance patches, such as [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] I would also recommend the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Try enabling/disabling vsync. You may need a program like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to limit the FPS if water/items turn wonky without vsync.
