this is my first build i had a small budget but i think i got me a good rig for the price ($350)

the games i want it to run are skyrim, minecraft, battlefield, far cry 3, etc.

Looks like a decent build from my end you should be able to play those games.

Overclocking is not going to happen with the parts listed, just so you know. The games you listed are graphic intense games, so don't expect to play ultra with the listed components. I say on low settings you might get a decent frame rate.

I don't use AMD but I'm pretty sure you can run all the games but it wont be pretty. I recommend trying to get 1 stick of 8gb RAM instead of having 2 sticks of 4 so you can upgrade with another stick later to get 16.

not sure about the OC or the ultra settings minecraft will probly run nice not sure about the others you should wait and save up alot more for a nice pc

Well than what main parts do FPS factor too? cause i looked up my GPU benchmarks and it ran all those games on ultra but im guessing its not just the GPU that factors it right?

Don't expect your system to run like those in the videos you've been watching, they may have different components, so it really isn't accurate. Your cpu is decent for your budget, but not for a "normal" gaming rig. Don't expect to run maxed out settings with those games.
