Im not the type of person to go out at midnight and buy the game. I like to wait until the next day and just pick it up then. Unfortunately thats when all the 13 year olds go out with there parents to get it.
The line moves so ridiculously slow i was thinking about just coming back another day.
First off:
There was a mom that went to go get her kid black ops. She thought that all she had to do is say i want black ops and pay for it and thats it. When the clerk asked her for what counsel it was for, she went blank and of course didnt know. She continued to try to call her son which took about 10 minutes, while refusing to let any one go in-front of her. After 20 minutes she was finally out of line and i was 1 spot close to get black ops.
Then came some stupid membership card.
While the clerk is ringing up your black ops, they are required to ask you if you want some membership card for free. Instantly all the parents jump on that offer when they here free and ask the clerk to explain further. Usaully after a few minutes they decide that they no longer are interested because the dont come in to get games often.
The final thing that slowed me down, was a kid trading in his old stuff. He honestly couldnt pick a worse day to do it. Also when trading in your old xbox 360 you need to have i believe one controller. He didnt have any with him so he had to go get a used on off the rack. To make sure it worked they turned on the xbox and tried to sinc the controller. Off couse the controller didnt sync and he had to get another one.
While only being behind 8 people, my time in line was around 45 minutes.
