What kind of setup do you have with your Internet?

Modem + Router?

If so you will probably need to port forward. So to find your router IP you will need to run command prompt.

Start > Run > type: cmd > type: ipconfig > Look for default gateway, should start with 192.168...

Now you want to enter this IP "192.168...." that you found into your URL on a web browser. Login to your router. Most likely it will be under Firewall if your router gives you categories. Easiest thing to do is look for DMZ, or DMZ hosting. This way is the easiest. On your PS4 go to dashboard, up to settings, down to Network. Now view connection status and you can see what your Internal IP is, should start with 192.168... For example, if it shows 192.168.0.18, you want to enter that IP address into DMZ part on your router. This will put your PS4 outside the firewall which will give you an Open NAT type.

If your router doesn't have DMZ or DMZ hosting you will need to port forward ): PS4 uses quite a few ports which is shitty. These are the ports you need to open:
TCP Ports: 80, 443, 465, 983, 5223, and 10070 - 10080
UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658, and 10070

If you can post a screen shot of what your router interface looks like and port forwading is the only thing you can do, take picture of the port forwarding screen and we can tell you what to type.

Hope this helps!
