so i built a new pc a month ago. at first i had stuttering problems in most games, so i took out a stick of ram, boooted it up, turned it off, put the other stick in- boom, works perfectly. but now, i get fps drops in some games, and i dont know why..im looking at my monitoring software, and it says my CPU idles at 1.4-3.5GHz at 16 Degrees Celsius. Also, with the FPS drops, my GPU nor CPU usage isnt anywhere near 99%..in fact, its around 30% each depending on the game, average, is around 30-50% for CPU and GPU even during fps drops for some reason. and on the monitoring software it says 1 Core of my 6 Core CPU is working at 100%, and the rest of the cores are like 10-20%. and i dont know why i get drops. it happens in Max Payne 3 on max settings (occasionally), in borderlands 2 on max settings (more frequently), and i get like 45FPS in Minecraft.
Parts: AMD FX 6300 @Stock Speed (3.5GHz)
AMD Radeon Powercolor HD 7870 (2GB)
