He has been holding me offline for 2 hours and threaten to hold me all night. Is there anything I can do to get it to stop?

Reset your router, it will change your IP.

I already have countless times.

I have Mid continental as my ISP provider.
Do you think if I took my Old Modem from Century link it will work even if it isn't from the same provider.

Reset your router or leave it off for one night or call your isp and say someone
is flapping your router they will look into it if so then they will get feds involved ect!

Or hold the reset button on the back of ur modem for 15 seconds each time do it 3 times

if that does not work pm me and i will help u

Yeah none of that seems to be working. And My ISP Provider claims it isn't possible to kick people offline and they clearly don't know what they're talking about.

The thing is that your isp will always say they dunno what your saying ect

Or not possible because u have to use the proper terms for it they call ddosing Flapping a modem

they will always say they dunno what that is other than what u need help with your internet You have a static ip theres not much u can do when someones holding u other than try another modem

Your ISP is in control of whether or not your IP is static (the same) or dynamic (changes whan you reset your router). You will have to call them and ask them to change your IP, if you get the same person you have previously talked to, ask to speak to someone higher up the chain. Tell them that you are experiencing slow internet and want to know if "there's something they can reset on their end" to make it run faster. If that doesn't work, tell them you think someone is "attacking your internet." Talk in small terms to them, the first level of service usually doesn't know what they are doing.

After that, do not join games/parties/chats with that person, or you'll have to go through that all over again.

Once again they will tell you u cannot change your ip there is one ip set to your modem ect

And if this guy is still holding u please pm me and i will take care of him my self!
