I somewhat disagree. I have the letters sXe in kind of big tribal letters on my calf (which is one of my random avatars.) I am very sure I won't regret it when I am older due to its meaning. It's a lifestyle choice. I am also thinking about a yin yang, because it also would have meaning with me. My cousin used to be a tattoo artist. He always said that it is best to get tattoos in places that you can easily cover up for jobs. I mean, all in all, it is an opinion if they are ugly or not. The people going into getting them probably couldn't care less by what others think about them. It's the tattoos people get when intoxicated that would be an issue. My brother got one of those, but it is a joke with him. In my personal opinion, I actually think they make some people look better. Some pieces look so good, I can't help but like them. They are great pieces of art when done correctly.

I don't have any tattoo's at the moment, but just a quick question for Yin and Inkz, are you really going to care what people think about them when you're older?
I wouldn't. Also, I agree some can look ugly and weird, I don't really like any that aren't just shades of black, colours look strange on a body in my opinion, but if they're done right, some can look amazing.

To me, it really depends on the placement of the tattoo and the size of it.
I have no problem with people getting small tattoos , but when people get sleeves of tattoos, they basically ruin any chance of getting a professional job.

i have tattoos that are dedicated to people i love.
like one on my chest, its a cross with my brothers name in it. hes dead. if you dont like tattoos dont get one, you dont have to rant about someone putting art on their body.

I am older lol, 35. So I'm passed the age of being concerned on how people see me.

Tattoos don't really bother me.
It's your body, do what you want with it.

It's your opinion that they're ugly, people that choose to have them obviously think differently.
