Okay so I'm not sure why this is happening but it got annoying and would like it to stop.
Over the past few months I've been getting phone calls asking for Francisco, when I'm not him. I would just politely tell them they have the wrong number. Well now i just got a call and it was some Indian tech support saying they can help. He said to get near my computer and wait so he can put his supervisor on. I waited but i was also suspicious, he said to click the windows button then R to get the run window, erase what was in the box and type remote123.org, then click OK, i did not do this part as i was being cautious. He asked what i saw on my screen because he believed i clicked it and he would remove the "virus" that i may have. After prolonged the conversation he asked that i am indeed 18 years or older, which i replied no, he then asked if i had a credit card, which again i said no. So he asked how am i going to pay him for his help, which i just said i don't know, then he hung up.
So my question is how do i stop being "Francisco" and was i right not to trust this suspicious person?

Which country do you live in? In the UK it is a criminal offense to cause distress to someone by repeatedly calling them, its called harassment.
Advise the caller that you have been recording all calls coming to your number and that you will be referring the matter to the police. That usually stops them from calling.
You were wise to not follow their instructions, as you were not the person they were calling for then why should you accept their help.

You cannot be polite to these people because they do not listen to politeness, all they do is ignore it, do not listen to anything they say and the next time they call tell them to never call them again or you will file a police complaint over the matter if it continues. Be ruff and the biggest ass hole you have ever been
