i woudent think so because you are not opening it and changing he parts of doing software changes. in my opinon no it wont.

I did the same thing when my paddle broke off from trying to put a keypad into my controller, dumb idea.

I emailed Scuf and they said that I could just send the controller back and they'd fix it for a small price.

It doesn't void the warranty.
