I bought a power supply that only has a 4 pin connector, and the graphics card I bought requires a 6 pin connector. I read somewhere that a PCIe can be used or something? I have 2 PCIe x16 and 3 PCIe x1 on my motherboard. Or can I get a 4 pin - 6 pin adapter? I'm still really new at computers and their components. So any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

You can get 6pin adapters really easily and cheaply. This one would be absolutely fine for you:

What PSU did you buy? I'm guessing it's not high end. It's never a good idea to skimp on the PSU man.

A Corsair CX500 power supply has two PCIe power connectors, specifically for graphics cards. They look like the following two pictures, either will work.
