im currently in the process of making a clothing line. and i need a website. i know you can get an actual website domain from many different people. (yahoo, webs, etc.) So whats the best one to do?

Would definitely not suggest godaddy to make the website. Yes it might be good but expensive! Buy a website through (it might not be this been a while) 123domains.com
Then get a hoster and everything through someone else.

Host gator, Godaddy, or even wix is pretty good.
