Well if you bought the original xbox for 300 pound on the day of release like some (me) and then they shut down the servers just 5 years after their new launch I say that's quite quick! Majority of the people playing these days are kids and have no concept of the money some of us gamers have to spend on this kit!

I'm thinking the 360 will have about 3 or 4 years left. The population of it is still pretty huge. It's got a while to go.

No, it's because developers won't want to develop anymore and the amount of players will go down, making it useless to have the servers up and running for 300k people.

well ea sports still has a contract with xbox 360 for three years, so awhile
