Curious if theres any way to recover an already viewed snapchat picture on a rooted android phone?

They are deleted when they are viewed, but you can access the files when you have them loaded in the app.

The path is "/data/data/com.snapchat.android/cache/received_image_snaps/"

You could set up Tasker to copy the file(s) in that folder to another with a gesture before they are deleted. To view the files, just change the extension to .mp4 for vidoes and .jpg for images.

To answer your question exactly, though, not really. You'd have to recover a deleted file from flash memory.

There is an app called Snapchat Save Pics on the Google Play Store. You can view the Snap when ever you want and screenshot it without them knowing.
