Hey all got this problem it's just gotten worse but, I got a slim and went out to buy a 100$ modem and I got it all connected but it **** starts to lag like no other, sometimes I can't connect at all and it's only like 25 ft somewhere in there and it most of the time goes red bar to green like lag spikes.. It fails also when my phone rings..
Anyone help me +rep.

Yes upgrade your bandwith (connection speed) thats why you experience lag. Also ask your provider about your latency it may be high.

Go to your settings for your modem, you can access it from your computer. Most modems are not set to full speed, turn it up to full bandwidth and that should help! I had to do this with my modem because it wouldn't let me have more than 2 xbox's on my network.

My modem was old, had to buy a new one that had built in wifi, and yes it's free.
Bout to look for bandwith and all that, one sec..
Just looked, didn't see anything about speed or anything like it, just stuff to configure my wifi. Any other help?
