First off this tutorial is aimed at noobs, noobs who can at least setup an internet connection share with your xbox.

First off, download and install a firewall of choice. I prefer zonealarm, its free and does the job.

Once your firewall is installed, add the exceptions (add to allow list)-

(first three are ranges)
65.55.42.1 - 65.55.42.255
134.170.179.1 - 134.170.179.255
134.170.178.1 - 134.170.179.255
(this is a single address)
5.66.12.150

Next goto your windows hosts file which is at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
You need to edit the "host" file with notepad the host.ics is not the one, you need the one with no file extension.
Add the following to the bottom and save the file

5.66.12.150 prod.cloud.rockstargames.com
5.66.12.150 prod.ros.cloud.rockstargames.com

You can check to see if your divert is working by typing prod.cloud.rockstargames.com into your borwser, you should be greeted with a usb server screen.
Just substitute the 5.66.12.150 IP for you're friends PC's IP ask him to type cmd in start then type ipconfig in cmd and hit enter then ask him to tell you the ipv4 address of his ethernet adapter local area connection in cmd and you should be good.
