So, I have never built a PC before and need some help figuring out a build. I am not a total noob when it comes to this stuff though.

My budget is around ~$800

I already have Windows 7 and 8 as well as OSX Snow Leopard and up. I am looking to dual boot into either Windows 7/8 and OSX (Hackintosh, so compatible parts are preferred.

I have speakers, a monitor, as well as other accessories. All that is needed is a case and the parts.

I will be occasionally playing some FPS games & I am usually very heavy on multitasking with programs such as Photoshop, After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc. Thanks to everyone who helps out, it's very much appreciated.

Here's what I'd get:

I'm not sure if the motherboard is OSX compatible but the CPU definitely is. I didn't include an OS as you can get one for cheap on eBay, or get it for free.

These days ODDs aren't needed much. They're becoming a thing of the past. Unless you really need one to burn images to discs, it doesn't need to be in your PC. To install an OS you simply throw it onto a bootable USB drive and install it.
