Go to Start and search Sound
Click on the one that just says "Sound" under the control panel dropbox.
Make sure none of the devices are disabled and update your drivers if you need to.
Also, make sure your volume isn't muted

Make sure your sound device is fully updated and you have the latest Windows Update pack installed. PM me and we will discuss this further.

Have you had this problem before? Is this a new PC/Laptop?
Go to Start>
Search "Device Manager"
Navigate down to "Sound, Video, and game controllers"
Double click on anything that shows up and see what it says. Don't do anything unless you know what you're doing/going to expect.

Okay I think I know what is going on
Go to Start
Search "Recovery Manager"
Go to Reinstall drivers
Find your Audio driver
if that doesn't work let me know what the model of machine you're using and manufacturer.
