Did you follow the steps at the end of the post to go back to normal on a PS3?
What level did you mod to?
1000. now my gta v isnt even starting. great.
Going over 1000 will cause problems with your character. You may have to unlink your Rockstar Social Club account.

Hm... Open the task manager and make sure it isn't running in the background. If it is, end the task and retry. Be sure you run as an administrator. It should be compatible with all versions of Windows.

Make sure you don't have a firewall or antivirus blocking your connection.
Make sure you have the right connection set to shared to the right ethernet connection. Computers with more than two network connections have a setting to choose which connection to share with.
If you're using Windows Vista/7/8 you may need to make sure your connection type is set to Private or Home rather than Public.

Yes.
Thanks so much! It was my firewall.
Will post whenever I get it working c:
Glad it was that simple! Lemme know how it works!
Everything works! Thanks SO much!

Wow, I've been trying to get this all day, but it kept saying my port 80 was closed, even after port forwarding. Turns out it was my Skype lol, thanks for pointing out that Skype can interfere, or I would have never figured this out.

That means your host file isn't redirecting correctly.
Make sure you have the right local IP address for your computer using "ipconfig". After that make sure your hosts file is correct.

Make sure your disc isn't damaged. Clear your cache and restart your system. This mod wouldn't cause an issue like you're describing.

Hey OP, you might want to change this:
The actual site is prod.cloud.rockstargames.com, not prod.cloud.rockstargaming.com, so that might cause some people to think they're doing something wrong, when they really aren't (That's what happened to me). Just a heads up
