It's the new AMD Radeon R9-290.

Wondering if it will run Batlefield and Firefall pretty well, and overall alot of the newer games for PC.

Umm yes, decent might be an understatement for that.
For that price it is one of the better graphics cards, on par with the 770 series it looks like

I have recently bought this card and on 1080p ultra battlefield 4 gets around 80-100fps.

Yeah caught a peak of my new computer my mom got me, she left the ordering page open on her laptop. I only saw it long enough to read it's a dual core unlocked, with that graphics card.

Just a heads up if you are getting this for Dayz/Arma don't. The Anti Aliasing is broke for a BIS engines. edges show up white and the sky is broken it's gaming breaking. I had one and returned for a GTX770 which is just 20/$40 more or so go with that if you can get one. Also the GTX770 runs a whole lot cooler extening the life of the part in general.

The 290 runs pretty hot,its still a good card,but i'd recommend waiting for better coolers or get it and get a better cooler on it.(however it viods the warrenty).
