When it mentions the hosts file, simply enter my IP (in the main post of this thread) rather than the ones it gives you.

Been doing it exactly like this for hours still can't get the mods to work, it just loads normal gta online.

Unfortunately, the only way it can be be disfunctional is user error. Many people are hosting using this method and I have confirmed that (bandwidth logs).

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator. If you are, google the subject.

Gonna try it now so all I do is edit the host file and save it and plug xbox in and goto gta?

All you do is follow the tutorial.

Even after saving the host into the host file , running notepad as admin, if I type in prod.colud.rockstargames.com into the URL, it says 404 access denied. What do I do?
