Homophobia doesn't exist. People don't have a fear of homosexuals, they have hatred towards them. They have a lack of acceptance for them. Homophobic shouldn't even be a word.

I would have to disagree. People are scared of gay people. I think because its different.

I think its interesting to see everyones point of view of this subject. Im seeing most people dont mind. Just that they dont want to be around it. Like what Sixsmith said.

I could just as easily say that I don't like seeing a guy and a girl kissing in public either, would it be OK if that were suppressed because we don't like seeing it?

I don't have much to say but all I will say is the word gay is often misused in many of different ways. ino a lot of people will say "oh that's gay" but they are talking about something that is totally different.

I don't really care if somebodies gay. Its their life not mine.

Your signature says equality however one of the images is of a 15 year old girl and a 21 year old male, i find this insulting to equality because it is classifying an illegal relationship with a minor as being equal rights. It is not and it is disturbing to think a 15 year old girl would be in a relationship with a guy who is 6 years older than her.

I have no problem with gay people one of my best mates brothers is gay and we get along perfectly but what i do have a problem with is gay guys/gals getting of in public i dont do it with my girlfriend so i find is quite disturbing that they do people shouldnt be getting of in public fullstop wait till you get home man

On a quick note also, why do straight guys automatically assume that gay people would even want to come onto you at all? Gay people have standards i am sure and they probably do expect a level of attractiveness from a male, maybe straight people need to come to terms with the fact that gay people do not try to "come onto" any other male in their immediate vicinity...

I'd say it could be perceived as insulting to suggest that just because you are male gay people will try to come on to you, also a little narcissistic.
