Hi guys. My dad has a genuine copy of windows 8.1 from his work (He has 1 spare so he is giving it to me)
I have a decision... Do I keep windows 7 64bit or Upgrade to Windows 8.1 64bit??
Cause I don't know if I should upgrade :/
Please help me out here guys

Make sure you like the UI before installing. Maybe ask to use his for a couple of hours just to see if you like it. As i hated it and refuse to use it any longer.

I have played around on my friends laptop which has windows 8 and I liked it. I like the UI as it is very.. 'Metro' and I like those sort of things

I did the update from 8 to 8.1 and it took a while, can't really tell whats different, but I do like windows 8, despite people telling me to get 7, I think its great.

I'd keep windows 7, I did have windows 8 but I decided to go back to windows 7 as I couldn't stand the UI of windows 8.

Good choice, its a bonus if you like the UI. Windows 8 can also play some games better than windows 7,correct me if i'm wrong but on some games windows 8 performs better.
