Windows 8 isn't very good, at least that's what I heard. You should downgrade it to Windows 7 Home(64-Bit.)

Windows 8 is actually really good now,well 8.1. From what i have seen it boost game performance.

Definitely a decent PC. You shouldn't run into too many issues with it unless you want to play Bioshock Infinite on Ultra. If it's a custom PC or if you don't mind opening your new boy up, I'd recommend swapping out the graphics card or even just doubling up on the one you already have

Just put in a order for the AMD Radeon HD 7870 last night had to return some of my gifts, but it was worth it.

I prefer Windows 8, it's very organized, you can easily run multiple apps and get to them easily, etc. They brought back the old windows button which makes things easier. Most of the reason people don't like it is because they haven't adapted to it, if they gave it a chance I'm sure they'd like it.
