What will happen if I joined A online game and never hosted it?

i somebody got 63 billion and rank 101 will they get banned?

i read it wrong its 7b LOL and i have 800 thousand in my bank 7b on my character but its on my main character so i dont wana really delete it :/

If you joined a modded lobby and got money out of a modder nothing will happen to you. If something does happen, report it straight to R* support team. Only modders are the ones facing the consequences.

Just want to mention, this does not mean anyone who mods will not receive a ban at all.

Haven't you seen their side of them not caring about their customers yet? I can surely tell you that they can CARELESS about us.. they will ban people only if they are system tampering, which is what DNS servers are doing.. i'm positive if a company like R* filed a complaint on BIG modders Microsoft would console ban, hands down.

No i have not yet, but i will take a look at it . If so I'm guessing everyone and their grandma is screwed. I had 207 trillion brought it down to 2 billion im level 346 and not getting on till after the ban hammer swings around. I know i can still get banned without being on their servers. I don't see why people are getting worked up about it if you tampered with the DNS then you should know their is a risk as with any type of modification their is always a risk what pisses me off is these so called modders go around modding stuff then when the banning starts happening they say R* and MS don't care about the users. The simple fact is MS and R* do care about you but when you start to tamper with their stuff they want you gone which you can hardly blame them for. GTAO has turned to shit i think a mass reset is the only thing that would make the game equal again.

That's why people that know what they are doing post these topics to prevent people from over using these mods. I my self modded the game, only once and I got caught immediately but I was only put into a cheaters pool. After that I stopped because I had already gotten what I wanted. What other people do is they keep doing it over and over again. Which I don't get why they would do that. They think having level 1000 makes them seem "cool" but obviously it makes them seem like complete dumb**** for going that high and messing up their game. But I do agree with you, I think R* should just restart GTA Online. It's corrupted and it's not fun to play as much as it used to be.

I just wanted to add something. Like GTA_Lobbies said you probably won't be console banned and R* will deal with you themselves. I think people at most risk here are the people who are hosting the lobbies and the ones who are joining lobbies/DNS servers that de-rank you. It doesn't matter what you do, every little piece of information is stored on the Cloud Servers. It doesn't matter if you delete and re install the game or if you clear the system cache.

By de-ranking yourself or transferring your money from one character to the other and then deleting it you are giving yourself a huge red flag and showing R* that you did everything willingly. At least if you are level 400 and have some trillions you can still say you were invited to join a lobby and someone gave you all of this because if you join most online lobbies now most people have God mode on, and are putting bounties worth billions on random people. I think by doing all of these de-ranking lobbies and money loss glitches and mods you are just putting yourself into more trouble. Best is to reset your DNS' and keep quiet.

I'd also like to add that the worst that will probably happen and please take this with a grain of salt as each case is different, you will be placed in a cheater pool for a maximum of 16 days and all of your money and rank reset to an earlier point. Hopefully this is what is going to happen. But of course like GTA_Lobbies said the worst of the worst will get a ban or a penalty of equal merit.
