We do this stuff in college. Physical abuse is just the tip of the iceberg.
There's about 5 different types of abuse.
Sexual, physical, emotional, threatening/striking fear and neglect.
All abuse has some form of emotional abuse in it, and it's granted that they all leave children emotionally damaged for the rest of their lives, if they live ofcourse.

Its a sign of dominance and disciplining them with abuse is no excuse at all. Seeing things like that makes me want to abuse them instead... what goes around comes around and there will always be a price for actions, someday.

I saw this before. It shocks me how little the Father got in prison. He deserved way more than what he got.

I watched that and it was pretty frightening knowing parents are out there still not found doing this to their own children and not even caring about what they're doing and how it affects their child.

Discipline is something a lot of parents are scared to do and it's because it's seen as a "Dark" way to treat your kids. Although I seem to find it 'okay' long as you don't over do it like punching your kid because they did something wrong. But if they do something wrong and you slap them (Considering it's just a small one and it doesn't hurt) It gives the child 's brain a clear intention to never do whatever they did again.

It help's in later life also because they grow more maturely simply because they was given discipline on the things that were wrong and things that were right.

Don't take my words the wrong way. I'm pretty much saying punishment to an extent is good but overdoing it is something that will affect the child forever and not in a good way.

Like caging your child up like an animal and doing all the things they did to him is pretty remarkable he came out of it the way he did. Shows he grew up quickly and realized what they were doing was wrong and his brain had to mature quickly so that he didn't turn out like his parents.

EDIT: Went on a ramble enjoy.
