I have been playing video games for the better part of my life and now find much less fun in them. Halo was awesome. I loved Halo 3 and the other two before that but after that for me, a hardcore halo fan, the series never picked up and just sucked afterwards. Reach was a huge diappointment in that the horrid armor abilities were introduced and the the gravity and bulkiness of everything made the game not even feel like Halo. I also loved Gears of War 2 and the first one was okay aswell but the third one just sucked due to the sawed off, retro, mechanics etc.... I also played just one battlefield. Bad Company 2. I played the crap out of it and was so pumped for BF3 until I played it. I was overwhelmed with the gigantic maps that took forever to get into action and when I did, I was killed and had to get another vehicle to rinse and repeat. The horrible just horrible server update killed the game even more and I never played anymore and hated the new UI that was implemented. I am not even going to bring up COD as it died with the end of Mw2 or even pushing BO1. I now play games like GTA V because it's actually fun and new and Borderlands 2. PEACE!

It sounds like you're fed up with mainstream games. Try out older classic games and indie games.

I played the fallouts, skyrim, crackdown, dead rising, madden and they all just get boring after ompletion.

Try out the original Shadow Warrior on the PC. It's quite a difficult game. And if you die, you start at the beginning of the level with all of your possessions lost. Heck, you jump into the action in less than a minute when you start a new game.

I agree with every single thing you have just said.

Personally I prefer much older games like the original super mario, tetris etc. Sega console's and the PS1 will always be my baby!

I agree with you. I remember playing spyro, crash, twisted metal, metal of honor and games awhile ago and they were great. Game play was amazing. Now a days we play COD and although it started out good, I think it had lost its touch. I might switch over and start playing indie horror games, and storytellers games.

It's a darn shame that A Machine For Pigs ended up not being as scary as the first Dark Descent

Telltales the walking dead is a great option. Very suspenseful, and scary.

This is why I rarely buy any new games. I also still play Bad Company, it's sad to see less and less people play on the servers. I always get in Vietnam games with person in it. I don't even bother with sequels anymore.

I had more fun playing Murder Miners on Xbox and it's not even fully developed yet.

Edit: it is impossible for me to type on my phone with these big thumbs.
