Every time I load a tu8 menu in xex menu it says disc unreadable but it doesn't for tu7 menus any ideas on how I can fix this?

You need a default_mp.xex that is patched with TU8. The offsets are different so you will get errors if you try loading a TU8 dll with a TU7 default and vice versa.

It's against the rules to post defaults here (or at least it used to be).
Just look for a TU8 menu that comes with the default that boots it.

You can always try creating a new folder and recopying MW2 then try the TU8 menu. Also make sure to launch the default_mp.xex and not the default.xex

you have to delete all your tu7 hacks you have in the mw2 folder.
you could try re-installing the game and then add tu8 if you cant find anything else to work
