I got the game for christmas for the Xbox one. Now I haven't played Madden since 10', but the controls and the mechanics and everything is just overwhelming. My question to you "Pro" madden players ... what's the easiest way to get used to the Madden 25 experience?

Just play the Skills Trainer at first to start out with. Try to master everything because the best madden players use all of the skills to enhance their game. If I were you, I'd choose a team with a fast RB and a good QB to get the feel before you get into the power backs and less accurate QBs. Seahawks would probably help you the best on Skill Trainer since they have the most stacked team.

Playing exhibition games on pro or even rookie could help. Never start out on All-Madden or even All-Pro because it will be too overwhelming with everything. Master the rookie or pro difficulties before moving up. That means winning games and blowing out teams.

One of the bigger things they added to the game is the physics engine which makes it so your players actually stumble and vice versa. But along with that, they made it so defenses were somewhat real. You have to read the safeties, corners, and linebackers to know what they're in and vice versa. Once you master reading defenses, you should be fine.
