DatStyle wroteRS3 wroteDatStyle wroteI clicked on a website to watch free movies and straight away it came up with my IP and my location and that all my PC info has been detained and encrypted. And it came up with a Police warning or something. My computer wouldn't let me go online and my web browser froze, so I fixed it by finding a way to force quit Safari (Internet browser for mac) and now nothing has happened I can go online fine. Is this a virus? Or a scam? Or was that real? The website is called LetMeWatchThis. I didn't download anything. Is this a crime? If it is i didn't know.
I've heard of these before. it is a scam. My dads friend works in the police force and he says scams like those always happen. they always ask for money from you and stuff just dont listen to em. document everything that comes up and contact your web provider
Thanks man
So your saying I can stop hiding in Pakistan now? lol

Sounds like you're using Norton or another equally bad antivirus.
You got scared by a virus.
You let them win, smh.

My girlfriend had this on her laptop, format the hard drive and re-install Windows and it will be gone.
If you need the contents of the hard drive then it could be a bit trickier because they are a pain in the backside to remove lol.
