I've spent hours and hours upgrading the jackdaw I maxed out the hull armour and the cannons on the side (I forget the name). (Well technically I haven't maxed it as I don't have the last ones (the ones where the plan is required)).

I have upgraded some other things as well.

Shall I just go ahead and do the mission?

I really don't see what I should upgrade now?

Most of the boat missions say that, I think its just a reminder that you need to upgrade the boat but the mission itself are relatively easy

It keeps telling you that ... You will be fine it just warns you dont worry doo dodoo be happy.

If youre going up against a Man O' War, they will always say this.
If they think your boat cant defeat the boat in the mission, it will say this no matter what.

You guys do know you dont actually have to upgrade the ship when it says that
