Honestly, I would be quite frightened if I were you. Not because of ghosts but because you are definitely a paranoid schizophrenic.

No foolin' man, I caught a ghost on a video. It's truly frightening.

Get out of there while you can, run, run and never look back.

I guess, set-up a few night vision cameras around your room and the kitchen (the kitchen is were most ghosts visit at night)

Its probably just your mind playing tricks on you, you've watched too many movies etc. I defiently think its just you being scared and then your senses will increase rapidly. I've struggled with the same thing before but now im completely over it

i don't really know anyone that when they were younger didn't quickly run upstairs as soon as they turned the lights off thinking someone is behind them.

its mainly the fear of the unknown, but try not too go too crazy, otherwise you will believe these things.. considering the house is old, there may be circuit faults cause lights to flicker, wood creaking like the sound of someone coming up the stairs, that always happens in old houses. The wood expand and contracts due to temperature! sounds like someones walking up the stairs slowly.
