Cannot get MW2 TU8 to work at all.. please helpPosted:

Ok so. I have my rgh with FSD and all my games added. I have the latest TU8 downloaded and in the cache folder. I then have the patch file in the MW2 folder along with a mod menu that xXModdedWarfareXx on youtube put out. The game will load but when i get to multiplayer it says Disk is unreadable. I have re installed it but i get the same error. Maybe its a bad patch? or maybe my disk is scratched and its missing a file? I'm not sure whats going on, please help!

It sounds like you are putting the disk in the jtag and trying to play it. Are you doing this?

No not at all lol. I have it copied to my hdd in a games folder. I think i might just have some files missing or something like that. I have just re downloaded my disk again, and i have 147 files. Is that the whole game? if there are more then maybe i need to get a new disk.

Maybe you are missing the right modded files. It could be the .dll or the default_mp.xex,or you have the wrong title update.

I think that is the whole game. But you said you're putting the patch file in there? There shouldn't be a patch_mp.ff there should only be a .dll

Maybe. Every time I try to play Mw2 on TU8 with a patch in the directory it doesn't run and says the disc is unreadable. Try and run it without the patch, see what happens

Same thing to me and I fixed it
The problem is that your disc is scratched get a new one that's the problem trust me
