The ban wave was said to end on the 31st, but it isn't ever over. Rockstar is always looking for mods and people to ban.

They are always watching for hackers so that doesnt mean you wont be banned for mods. The mass bans are done for now

Yes the ban wave is over I was able to play my character again but I had already made a new account and got to level on a different char before all the modded servers went down. But I hear there are more new ones!
