Well AM3+ has been out for a pretty long time so as you're on AM3 right now, it will give you more performance and should run that GPU perfectly.

They are all the black edition, some sites just call it that as the older Phenoms had actual unlocked processors called Black Editions.

Now all AMD processors are unlocked and technically are Black Editions.
